FIA GT - Zolder previewMarkus will race the last European round of the FIA GT Championship together with German Marc Lieb who is one of the most successful Porsche works drivers. Markus' regular teammate in the #60 Prospeed Competition 911 GT3-RSR, Mikael Forsten is unavailable as he is participating in the show jumping World Cup competition in Helsinki. 28-year-old Lieb has raced Porsches since 2000 and has been an official factory driver since 2003. During the last years he has won two times both the FIA GT Championship and Le Mans Series titles. He has also two GT2 class wins in Le Mans 24 Hours and three in 24 Hours of Spa among other successes in Europe and the United States. Lieb has already raced for Prospeed Competition last year in Zolder and this year as the 3rd driver of the #61 in Spa 24 Hours where Collard-Westbrook-Lieb finished 2nd in GT2.
